Jason Aldean’s children support each other during craft evening

Jason Aldean and his wife Brittany recently tried their own paint-and-drink project at home, drawing portraits of each other and sharing the hilarious results with their followers. Now it’s the kids’ turn (sans wine, of course).

“Of course the kids needed their own masterpiece moment!” Brittany said on social media as she shared the video, which stars her six-year-old son Memphis and five-year-old daughter Navy.

During the activity, Navy seems somewhat critical of her work. “No, it doesn’t look good,” she says to her brother at one point. “It kind of looks like blood is coming out of your mouth. I’m a terrible artist.”

“No, you’re not,” Memphis replies, lovingly cheering on his little sister. “Just do your best.”

“I’m painting my sister, Navy,” he says to the camera, looking up from his easel. “She says she’s a bad artist, but that’s not true. She’s a good artist. To me, that’s her.”

Of course, this activity isn’t about painting a perfect picture: it’s about having fun, exploring a new form of creative expression, and laughing together. And that’s exactly what the two kids do at the end of the clip – Memphis laughs his head off when he sees Navy’s finished artwork.

“It looks like blood is coming out of my mouth,” he agrees after seeing the portrait. At the end of the video, both children pose with their portraits.

The Aldeans are a talented family, but painting isn’t everyone’s forte – a fact the singer and his wife proved earlier this week when it was the adults’ turn to pick up the paintbrushes.
