Jason Kelce’s reference to Taylor Swift and her brother Travis Kelce has caused quite a stir on the internet.
The former Philadelphia Eagles center took to X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday to voice his opinion on Travis Kelce’s investment in a horse that shares part of its name with the Kansas City Chiefs star’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift.
BloodHorse’s X-Account shared a message that read: “Super Bowl winning @Chiefs tight end @tkelce has purchased an interest in a three-year-old Thoroughbred from @TeamValor, aptly named #SwiftDelivery.”
They also marked the NFL New heightsthe podcast co-hosted by Jason and Travis Kelce.

In response, Jason Kelce said: “But does it have an enlarged heart? Can this horse do this with a broken heart? @tkelce.”
“I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” is a Swift song from her 2024 album The “Tortured Poets” section.
Newsweek has emailed Travis Kelce’s press agent for comment.
At the time of publication, his post had garnered more than 1.2 million views and over 300 comments.
In the replies, fans praised the father of three – who has daughters Wyatt, Elliotte and Bennett with wife Kylie Kelce – for his clever message.
“Jason, you continue to prove that you are a true Swiftie 🫶,” wrote @KelleeMood.

In a press release on Tuesday, Barry Irwin – founder and CEO of Team Valor International – announced that Travis Kelce and Phantom Fireworks owners the Zoldan family “have acquired a significant portion of Team Valor’s interest in the three-year-old gelding Swift Delivery.”
In an interview with Associated Press, Irwin commented on Travis Kelce.
“It’s very exciting. I met him at the Kentucky Derby and was able to spend some time with him and we talked about horses and everything,” Irwin said. “When this horse came to light and it was already owned by one of my partners, I thought with that name it’s got to be a no-brainer.”
Travis Kelce already spoke about the Kentucky Derby on May 8th in the episode of New heightsand noted that he was “just a nose away” from winning $100,000 at the sporting event.
“I was a beginner. I didn’t get very far,” said the Are you smarter than a star? said the presenter at the time. “I just wanted to throw all the money I had brought with me on a horse and just be happy if the thing even came close. And sure enough, when I came around the corner, I saw the thing… appear.”
Travis and Swift first sparked dating rumors in July 2023 when the NFL star attended her Eras Tour show in Missouri and she was later spotted at several of his football games. The couple confirmed their romance in October during a Saturday Night Live After party.
