INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana—San Jose State athletic director Jeff Konya returns to the NCAA Division I women’s basketball committee, where he served during the 2017-18 season.

Konya, who will join the committee immediately and serve until Aug. 31, 2026, will fill the position on the Mountain West Conference committee recently vacated by San Diego State Assistant Athletic Director Jenny Bramer. Konya previously served on the committee when he was athletic director at Oakland.

“I am honored to join the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Committee and represent the Mountain West Conference,” Konya said. “It is exciting to return to the committee at a time of greatest interest and momentum in the sport of women’s basketball.
