LAWRENCE, Kansas. – In two weeks, the Kansas football team will begin its season-opening game on Aug. 29 against Lindenwood at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas, and the Jayhawks have unveiled a new red uniform that will be worn during the 2024 season.
The red uniforms Kansas will wear in its first game against TCU at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Sept. 28 will consist of an all-red jersey and red pants with a bold Kansas logo on the chest. Each sleeve has “Rock Chalk” written in block letters in the center between two stripes.
In 2023, Kansas introduced a number of new uniforms, including the “Blackhawk” uniforms worn against Illinois on September 8, 2023, and against Kansas State on November 18, 2023. Months earlier, the Jayhawks introduced new home and away uniforms in blue and white, featuring the same bold Kansas lettering on the chest and sleeve stripes.
Kansas enters the 2024 season ranked No. 22 in both the AP and Coaches Polls and No. 24 in the Coaches Poll for the first time since 2007. Kansas will play all six home games in the Kansas City metropolitan area while work continues on the University of Kansas Gateway District. Fans can purchase the 2024 Kansas Football 4-game season ticket package, which includes all home games at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The season ticket package offers prices starting at $230 for general stadium seats.
Other ticket options include the popular Family Zone as well as available Premium Seating opportunities. Purchasing a 4-game season ticket package also continues to increase your priority when selecting seats at the newly remodeled David Booth Kansas Memorial Stadium for the 2025 season. 6-game season ticket packages, which include the first two games at Children’s Mercy Park, are sold out.
