Kehlani accused her ex, Javaughn Young-Whiteof abuse and a restraining order was obtained against him as they battle over custody of their daughter.
If you didn’t know, Javaugn applies for sole custody of Adeya Nomi5. In legal documents, he accused his ex of being a member of a cult.
This month Kehlani went to court to obtain an injunction against Javaugn while they seek a solution. Their order has been provisionally issued and details have been announced.

According to court documents filed on August 9 and obtained by People, Javaugn is unable to be within 100 meters Kehlani or her daughter. He is also not allowed to contact her in any way, is not allowed to take her out of California, and is not allowed to “possess or purchase firearms and ammunition.”
Kehlani currently has sole custody of Adeya.
A judge issued the order because “there is a risk that (Young-White) will take the children without permission.” The reasons given were previous “abuse” and cases of “lack of cooperation” with his ex.
Kehlani accused Javaugn of abuse in additional documents filed on August 8.
In those documents, she said he had “caused her emotional harm, disturbed my peace, and made me fear for my safety and the safety of our daughter.”
A preliminary injunction hearing is scheduled for September 3. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more.
