Kehlani obtained a restraining order against ex-boyfriend Javaughn Young-White amid custody battle over their daughter, claiming he abused her for years + He denies her allegations with screenshots of text messages
The drama between Kehlani And Javaughn Young-White, The relationship between her ex and the father of her child becomes more and more intense.
theJasmineBrand previously reported that Javaughn Young-White applied for custody of his and the singer’s five-year-old daughter, Adeya.
He reportedly accused Kehlani of belonging to a cult and that he had expressed concern that the cult leader had been accused of sexual assault. He later denied making those allegations and said his lawyer had filed court papers without his consent and had fired his attorney. He also apologized to the priest and his church.
But Kehlani does not give up the ongoing custody battle. She applied for and received a temporary restraining order against Javaughn Young-White and accused him in court documents of physical, verbal and emotional abuse.
She claimed that he had abused her for years, even when she was pregnant with Good morning. She said she only took legal action after an alleged “tantrum” in June in which he allegedly “smashed down the locked bedroom door in a fit of rage.”
He allegedly called her a “slut” and a “liar” and said he had Good morning. He also allegedly exploded when she asked him about his decision to apply for welfare, as he was living with her at the time and “smoking marijuana all day, every day” and was also allegedly taking psychedelics.
She said his “personal hygiene and self-care” was not up to par and claimed that after spending time with him, Adeya comes home and smells like marijuana.
She said he “scared” her and she could “imagine that this is very disturbing for a small child,” adding:
“He is not doing well emotionally and appears to suffer from periods of despair and often tirades of uncontrollable anger and rage. When agitated, he cannot stop moving and throws his arms in the air while screaming and shouting at me, often throwing objects and calling me horrible names.”
She said she let him stay on the property because he “promised to be a better father” but allegedly still hasn’t kept his promise and instead continues his alleged pattern of “chaos and abuse.”
According to the order Young-White must not contact Kehlani by phone or email. He must stay at least 100 meters away from her and Adeya and the child’s school.
Kehlani will retain sole custody and right to determine the daughter’s place of residence for the duration of the temporary injunction.
Commissioner Jeffrey W. Korn pointed out, Young-Whitealleged history of abuse and decided that there was a possibility that he AdeyaFor this reason, he is not permitted to leave the state of California with the child or to apply for travel documents such as a passport.
In addition, the order prohibits him from owning or purchasing firearms or ammunition.
A hearing is scheduled for September 3.
