Kehlani obtains a restraining order against allegedly violent ex – he claims the singer is the real abuser

Kehlani has filed for a restraining order against her ex-boyfriend Javaughn Young-White because he is a violent stoner who poses a danger to their child.



In her filing in June, the singer claimed that he smashed down her locked bedroom door and called her a “slut” and a “liar” after a disagreement, per TMZShe asked him to leave that day after enduring five years of “chaos and abuse.”

Kehlani claims he smoked weed and took mushrooms all day when he was staying with her. She also claims his house was dirty and there was food and weed scattered everywhere. Her daughter came back from a visit there smelling of weed.

The Los Angeles County Superior Court issued the order last Friday (August 9). Young-White is prohibited from contacting Kehlani and Adeya or coming within 300 feet of them. Kehlani will retain full custody of Adeya while the order is in effect. The judge ordered a hearing on the restraining order for September 3.

Kehlani responded to reports of the restraining order on her Instagram stories. “I have not made any statement,” she wrote on Tuesday night (August 13). “Nor have I reached out to TMZ regarding my issues.”

Young-White accuses Kehlani of abuse

Young-White also responded via Instagram, claiming Kehlani was the abuser and posting alleged screenshots of text messages between them. He accused the singer of “false allegations of abuse,” adding, “I was lied to and manipulated for years.”

According to Young-White, he always forgave Kehlani “because otherwise my daughter would be used as a weapon against me.”

“Kehlani broke in through her own door and is blaming me for her abuse,” he wrote alongside one exchange. “I have more. That’s why I keep a paper trail. Sad she resorts to lies.”

Young-White claims: “I have cut off contact with her for the past month because she has been abusive and because she claims to have abused her when she is afraid.”

The restraining order came after Young-White filed for sole custody, claiming Kehlani was a member of a sex cult and posed a danger to her daughter. Kehlani vigorously denied the allegations. Young-White claimed his comments were misrepresented and demanded a retraction of the TMZwho was the first to report on his submission.
