Reality show personality Kim Kardashian is making headlines again, but this time for a pretty shocking reason. A stalker allegedly tried to break into her Malibu home.
According to a report from The Sun, court documents obtained by TMZ state that the SKIMS founder has asked a judge for a temporary restraining order against Melvin Jeffery Conley, who repeatedly visited her property last month and expressed his intention to break into her home.
Kardashian claimed that her security guards confronted the stalker at the fence of her home. He reportedly told security guards that he wanted to jump over and break into Kim’s home in California.
In court documents, the business magnate said Conley was willing to go to great lengths to reach her because the location of her home is not publicly disclosed. She stated that she experienced “worry, anxiety and severe emotional distress” due to the alleged incident.
The stalker allegedly claimed to be Kim’s “long-time manager” and had arranged to meet her that day. However, Conley is said to have not only stalked the reality TV star, but Emma Roberts was also affected by an incident in which he was involved.
Both Kardashian and Roberts worked together on “American Horror Story.” The business magnate claimed Roberts informed her of Conley’s desire to contact her and her children, the documents say.
Earlier this year, the “Maybe I Do” star was granted a restraining order against Conley for allegedly breaking into her Los Angeles home on May 7 and 8. According to The Sun, she was not at the home at the time.
The actress accused him of using a landline phone and trying to call her on her cellphone. Roberts claims she called back when she saw a missed call and Conley answered. The star and her three-year-old son were granted a five-year restraining order against the stalker. Conley is now barred from moving more than 100 yards from her home, work and her child’s school.
Stalkers breaking into celebrities’ homes is nothing new and there have been many such cases before. However, every time such a case repeats, the incident sounds very shocking and scary.
