Kim Kardashian files for temporary restraining order

Kim Kardashian has filed for a restraining order against a man she claims tried to gain entry to her home.
The 43-year-old reality TV star has filed court documents asking for a temporary restraining order to keep 32-year-old Melvin Jeffery Conley away from her and her family amid allegations that he attempted to “jump the fence” of her Malibu, California, mansion.
According to TMZ.com, the documents say that Conley also showed up at her mother Kris Jenner’s house posing as Kim’s “longtime manager” and a player on the Toronto Raptors basketball team. He told security guards that he had an appointment with Kim that day.
In the documents, Kim claims he has been caused “worry, anxiety and severe emotional distress.” TMZ added that the star stated her home “is not easy to find or make known, and that shows the lengths he is willing to go to in order to make contact with her and her children.”
The documents also suggest that Kim was warned about Conley by her “American Horror Story” co-star Emma Roberts, who was granted a five-year restraining order against her earlier this year.
According to the source, Conley was previously accused of breaking into Emma’s home in May and calling the actress from the property’s landline phone.
The documents show that Emma told Kim that she had been warned that Conley was trying to contact the “Kardashians” star and her children.
In her previous court filing, Emma claimed she lived β€œin fear that (Conley) would try to return to her home.”
She was granted a temporary restraining order protecting both her and her three-year-old son.
The order prohibits Conley from coming within 300 feet of her and her son, as well as their home, workplace and school, for the next five years.
