Kimpton opens first boutique luxury hotel in Orlando as part of exciting new Westcourt development

Kimpton introduces its first boutique luxury hotel in Orlando, with a prime location in the vibrant new Westcourt sports and entertainment district.

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurantsa key player in IHG Hotels & Resorts’ growing luxury and lifestyle collection, has announced an exciting new collaboration with JMA Ventures and Machete Group to open its first boutique luxury hotel in Orlando. This new hotel will be strategically located next to the Kia Center Arena and will be part of Westcourt’s innovative mixed-use sports and entertainment complex designed to offer a range of immersive experiences for visitors and locals.

This partnership underscores Westcourt’s commitment to providing a first-class hotel experience in the heart of vibrant downtown Orlando.

The new Kimpton hotel will feature 261 rooms across 11 floors and will capture the dynamic energy of the city with numerous high-end common areas. Guests will enjoy over 16,000 square feet of versatile indoor meeting space, ideal for hosting unforgettable events. The hotel will also include a full-service restaurant, lobby bar, café, pool bar and pool lounge. Like all Kimpton hotels, this new location will offer unique amenities such as Kimpton Kickstart morning coffee and tea service, Kimpton Social evenings, a “Forgot? We Got It!” program, yoga mats in every room and a pet-friendly policy.

Located on a 3.2-acre site between Church Street, Division Avenue, Central Boulevard and Hughey Avenue, Westcourt will offer 265 premium multifamily rental units above the hotel. The development will also include up to 28,800 square feet of office space and 11,000 square feet of retail space focused on premium dining and entertainment options.

Additionally, the project includes a live event venue with a capacity of 3,500 people, multiple conference rooms and a 1,140-space parking garage. Guests of Kimpton Orlando will also benefit from Westcourt’s 3.5 acres of outdoor common areas, perfect for enjoying the Florida weather.

Once completed, the Kimpton Orlando will be the seventh Kimpton hotel in Florida. IHG’s luxury and lifestyle portfolio has grown significantly in recent years. Almost 900 hotels are either already open or in the planning stages worldwide.
