The Langham Huntington in Pasadena celebrated the grand opening of its new resort pool, the Royce Pool, on Tuesday, August 13.

In collaboration with the Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, the historic hotel hosted a grand opening ceremony to officially unveil this new luxury facility, which is now open to non-hotel guests on a limited basis.

Event attendees enjoyed cocktails and light hors d’oeuvres while relaxing poolside and enjoying Chuan Spa’s mini spa treatments.

“We are excited to introduce our new resort pool, which is a blend of elegance and comfort,” said Shane Pateman, general manager of the Langham Huntington, Pasadena, in a press release announcing the pool’s opening. “It serves as a retreat in the bustling city and offers our guests a place to relax and recharge in style.”

The hotel’s new modern resort pool complements the existing historic Lanai Pool. Both are now open to non-hotel guests with limited availability on weekdays and select weekends by reservation through ResortPass.com, the hotel said.

Located on the west side of the Picture Bridge and surrounded by lush gardens, Royce Pool also offers amenities such as poolside dining, televisions, mini-fridges, ceiling fans and high-speed WiFi.
