Lemon Tree Hotels signs contract for new Aurika hotel in Surat, India

Lemon Tree Hotels has announced the signing of a new upscale property under its Aurika Hotels & Resorts brand in Surat.

The hotel is scheduled to open in fiscal year 2030 and will be managed by Carnation Hotels, a subsidiary of Lemon Tree Hotels.

The Aurika property in Surat will feature 175 well-appointed rooms and suites and a range of amenities including a ballroom, boardroom, dining options, swimming pool and spa.

Known as the ‘Diamond City of India’ and the ‘Silk City’, Surat is a centre for diamond cutting and polishing as well as textile production. The city is not only an industrial hub but also a cultural beacon in Gujarat with historical sites and a rich culinary scene.
