Lexip X Tsume Naturo Shippuden Madara “Destruction” PC Accessory Kit Review

Naruto is one of the most popular anime series of the last decades. It is right up there with shows like Dragon Ball And A piece as a show so ubiquitous that even my grandma could recognize the characters. Likewise, Lexip is one of the leading PC accessories manufacturers on the planet, offering some of the best eSports-focused gear on the market. Their latest set of accessories, the Madara Destruction Complete Gaming Set, features the same excellent design, but with a new anime-style coat of paint.

If you like this review, you may also want to check out some of our other recent tech reviews. We looked at the NitroDeck+ for Nintendo Switch as well as the KIWI Design vertical stand for Meta Quest.

What is included in the Madara Destruction Playset?

An amazing set.

When you get Lexip X Tsume’s Madara “Destruction” PC Accessory Set, you get a decent selection of accessories, including a controller, mouse, headset, and mouse pad. The complete set includes:

  • 1 x Lexip Gaming Mouse with Madara Sharingan Design (based on Lexip NP93)
  • 1 x Lexip wireless gaming headset with Susanoo design
  • 1 x Lexip LED Gaming Mouse Pad with Madara Character Design
  • 1 x Lexip Gaming Controller with Susanoo Design

All of these accessories work on PC without much fuss (though you’ll need additional software if you want to use the mouse’s advanced features), but you can also use the headset and controller on a Nintendo Switch if you’re so inclined. Oddly, it also seems to work on a PS3, but not a PS4.

Lexip x Tsume Madara Destruction Wired Gaming Mouse

This little thumbstick will prove to be extremely handy.

One of the most fascinating aspects of this entire set is undoubtedly the mouse. Its design seems to be based on the Lexip NP93, a mouse that has been making a lot of noise in recent years. What makes this device so desirable and distinctive is the thumbstick on the side that you can assign any input to, as well as the other 7 programmable buttons for any macros you can imagine.

The thumbstick itself is a great addition because it allows you to control most functions of many games without using your left hand at all. At least you can keep your hands free on the keyboard for fewer functions, thus improving your concentration.

Undoubtedly, the mouse feels great with its programmable buttons and adjustable weight. Whether you’re a pro or not, you’ll love the feel of this mouse, probably because the ceramic plates on the bottom ensure that the device glides effortlessly across most surfaces.

Lexip x Tsume Madara “Destruction” Wireless Gaming Headset

This tiny little Susanoo on the headset is adorable.

If you’re a fan of chunky overhead headphones, you’ll love these. Not only is the sound quality top-notch with a decent frequency range, but the looks of the headset are immense. The detachable microphone features a sculpted blue Susanoo head that breathes fire, and the whole thing lights up when it’s on.

The Bluetooth (5.1) connection is strong, but it doesn’t work on all devices. On a Switch, PC, or your phone, the headset connects just fine, but you’ll need to switch to “wired” mode if you want to use it with a PlayStation or Xbox system. This isn’t too much of a downside, as most modern systems rely on audio jacks in the controllers themselves, but it’s still a downside to keep in mind.

The microphone quality is also excellent, but there is no noise cancellation or voice isolation. For normal use with a PC or games console, this is obviously not so important, but if you want to make calls on the go, you’re probably better off with a set that reduces wind and road noise.

Lexip x Tsume Madara “Destruction” LED Gaming Mouse Pad

Honestly, depending on your attitude, Madara giving you bedroom eyes from your desk is either a very negative or a very positive thing.

If you’re looking for a mouse pad to match your gaming mouse, this set is for you: a rigid, LED-lined mouse pad with Madara’s evil, laughing face emblazoned on the front. You also have access to a touch-sensitive button on the top of the unit that lets you turn off the LED strip on the outside of the pad without having to manually unplug it every time.

The surface texture is quite rough, but not so abrasive that it will damage your skin or your mice. Combined with the ceramic-bottomed mouse included in the set, it’s a match made in heaven. However, other mice have also proven to work incredibly well with this mouse pad, so you can hardly go wrong with this one.

Lexip x Tsume Madara “Destruction” gaming controller

A great controller.

The final trump card for any PC gamer is a decent controller. Sure, some diehard fans still claim that controllers have no place in PC gaming, but these people talk incessantly about overclocking and dedicated WAM. Needless to say, these accessories are top-notch too.

All of the buttons on this controller have a really satisfying click, although it’s not quite as loud as certain mechanical keyboards. You also have four programmable buttons on the back (a standard on modern ELITE controllers) and what looks like a DualShock 4 touchpad on the front, although that last feature is purely cosmetic as far as I can tell.

This is a wireless controller with a built-in battery that will last at least 10 hours on a full charge. It connects via a 1.4GHz USB dongle, rather than Bluetooth, which means that any system you want to use it with will need to have a USB-A port, but you can also achieve similar results by using a USB-A to USB-C OTG adapter/cable.

So far, this controller has worked on a PC, Nintendo Switch, and PS3 using the dongle. It’s also possible that it will work with some other systems, but you’ll have to try each system individually to be sure.

Summary

Whether you’re a Naruto fan or just want some cool new PC accessories, this set is hard to beat.

This Lexip X Tsume Naturo Shippuden Madara “Destruction” PC Accessory Set is one of the best PC accessory sets on the market if you are a PC gamer and a fan of Naruto. The visual elements of the design have been expertly crafted, and given LEXIP’s heritage of top-notch gaming peripherals, it’s no surprise to see a product of this caliber come out of it. The only downsides that are of concern are the odd addition of an extra pointless button/fake touchpad on the controller and the lack of ability to use it on other modern systems. Those two criticisms aside, it’s still a set worth the money.
