Man who claims to have missed doomed Brazilian flight gives terrifying account

One day after a Brazilian airline passenger plane crashed en route to Sao Paulo, a man has spoken out, claiming to have narrowly missed the ill-fated flight.

The aircraft involved According to the Associated Press, 57 passengers and four crew members were in the burning wreckage in a residential area in the city of Vinhedo. The plane took off from Cascavel, Brazilin the state of Paraná.

“The company regrets to announce that all 61 people on board flight 2283 died at the scene,” the airline said in a statement.

Video of the crash has since gone viral on social media and it is, to say the least, horrifying. Tragic. Terrifying. Horrifying. Unbelievably sad. Everything. Just awful.

A second video has also surfaced online this morning. This time it shows a man claiming he missed his flight because he was late. He says he tried to force his way onto the plane with the flight attendant, but it was to no avail.

“I argued with him and stuff… and he saved my life. I hug him because he did his job. If he hadn’t done his job, I might not be doing this interview today.

“I spoke out of anger, but this guy – I don’t even know his name – really saved my life.”

The video of the plane crash in Brazil is terrible

My goodness. A surreal moment here.

You see, I hate flying. I despise it. I am scared to death of it. I am not saying that is the reason, but… that is the reason. I am a Side trip Dude. Always has been that way and always will be that way.

And now that we live in the age of social media and everything in life is captured on video, it’s a thousand times worse. This video is horrific. It’s all over social media and it’s distressing to watch.

You don’t see planes free-falling out of the sky. I couldn’t imagine being in that thing. Seriously, just thinking about it makes me sick.

Could you imagine being that guy today? Forget about today. What would it be like to be that guy yesterday when that video was making the rounds on the internet? I don’t even know what I would do. Probably puke first.

And then I’m shocked for the rest of my life. You never really recover from that, do you? You’re happy to be alive, but you’re always thinking about what could have been.

Wild.

Anyway, it’s all just awful. I don’t know what happened, but I assume it was something terrible and I’ll never fly again.
