Marvel reveals Galactus as Marvel’s ‘Fantastic Four’ villain for upcoming reboot

PETALING JAYA, July 28 – Marvel Studios gave fans a sneak peek at the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe ahead of its highly anticipated panel at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) today.

With the last Marvel panel at SDCC in 2022 Marvel Studios Hall H Presentation is one of the most eagerly awaited events at the conference, with much of the program expected to focus on: Deadpool and Wolverine Events in light of its recent release.

However, rumors suggest updates on Marvel’s Phase 5 plan and beyond, the fifth Avengers film is finally getting its new title, and Marvel is expected to reveal three unnamed titles set to release in the next few years, including the Fantastic Four Restart.

The congress began yesterday with a surprise screening of Deadpool and Wolverine for visitors in Hall H, but the highlight was when the studio ended the evening with a spectacular drone show over San Diego, producing images of upcoming MCU projects, including the Fantastic Four – and his villain!

While The Fantastic Four has only recently started shooting, Comic book reports that the epic drone show revealed a comic-accurate depiction of Galactus, followed by the Fantastic Four logo, which got everyone excited about the upcoming title featuring Marvel’s First Family.

It has been reported that English actor Ralph Ineson may join the cast, and it is now confirmed that Galactus will be the antagonist.

Deadline reports that the villain “possesses nearly unlimited abilities to manipulate cosmic energy, including projecting energy, manipulating matter, teleporting over great distances, and altering reality itself.”
