Muse was first introduced to fans through a brief glimpse of his eerie blood paintings, one of his trademarks from the comics. He has a dark and twisted personality. Not long after, the villain was fully revealed, offering fans a look that was almost identical to the original comic book design. Although no actor has yet been confirmed for the role of Muse, character creator Charles Soule gave the adaptation his seal of approval by confirming that the live-action version accurately captured the feel and atmosphere of the sinister artist.

A new dark power in Hell’s Kitchen

With the arrival of Muse in the MCU, Daredevil: Reborn takes a different turn as it introduces a villain with dark origin stories and psychopathic tendencies who has long been popular with comic book readers. He is one of the most dangerous enemies Daredevil has ever faced – the misunderstood artist and serial killer known as Muse. It is not only the cruel and artistic methods of the crime scenes that are visibly repulsive; it is also a psychological challenge for Matt Murdock, who wears the Daredevil mask.

Fans got their first look at what to expect with footage shown during D23 that features a brutal fight between Daredevil and Muse. The scene bears striking similarities to the hallway fights of the iconic Netflix series and promises to be one of the highlights of the showwhich packs a lot of action into the grim and dark atmosphere of Daredevil.

New interpretation of Daredevil

Earlier this year, Brad Winderbaum, head of streaming, television and animation at Marvel Studios, spoke about the direction of Daredevil: Reborn. He explained that the series will be a mix of familiar and new. “Daredevil is incredible. It’s similar to X-Men 1997 in some ways because it revives something that fans love,” explained Winderbaum. “But it goes in a new direction.”
