Mass shooting linked to “violent” motorcycle gang

BLUE SPRINGS, Missouri (KCTV) – Police are linking a mass shooting in Blue Springs that left five people injured to a dangerous motorcycle gang.

On Friday, Blue Springs police said a shooting at Route 40 and Adam’s Dairy Parkway on September 17, 2022, involved members of the Kansas City-area Pagan’s motorcycle club.

At the time of the shooting, police did not release any information about the incident, but said five people suffered serious injuries.

Eighteen members of the motorcycle club are accused of crimes ranging from physical assault to organized crime.

The charges were released Thursday afternoon and allege that Pagan members threatened violence to protect their territory from rival motorcycle clubs.

Rival clubs in Missouri include:

  • Hell’s Angels
  • Outlaws
  • The Forester
  • Galloping goose
  • Sons of Silence
  • Bandidos

Court documents also show that the Pagans attempted to completely eliminate the other gangs through attacks, robberies, extortion and even attempted murder.

Agents worked to execute seven warrants related to the motorcycle club, including one for a home in Lee’s Summit on Thursday morning.
