McKenna Grace stars in Coleen Hoover adaptation “Regretting You”

McKenna Grace will star alongside Allison Williams in “The Last Man.” I regret youan indie adaptation of the 2019 novel from It ends with us Author Colleen Hoover, Deadline has confirmed this. The news comes amid the theatrical release of Sony’s It ends with us The adaptation, starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, is expected to be a huge success, grossing in the mid-$40 million range.

Written by Susan McMartin, with Josh Boone (Fate is a lousy traitor) on board to guide, I regret you revolves around the complex relationship between Morgan Grant (Williams) and her daughter Clara. Morgan became a mother at a young age and put her own dreams aside to raise Clara. As Clara grows into her teens, their relationship becomes strained, especially after a tragic accident claims the life of Chris, Morgan’s husband and Clara’s father.

The project comes from Constantin Film, whose producers will be Robert Kulzer as well as Brunson Green and Anna Todd.

Grace was last seen in Sony’s Ghostbusters: The Frozen Empire, which took place last March. Other awards in the past are Friend of the family and Searchlight’s Gifted. She is represented by Entertainment 360 and CAA.
