McLaren 750S gets wild new colors from MSO

Key findings

  • McLaren launches new MSO Contrast Packs for the 750S to enhance the customer experience.
  • The packages offer upgrades for the exterior and interior with 12 pre-configured designs (more can be created upon request).
  • 2025 750S gets a start/stop button in papaya orange as standard.

McLaren has finally realized that it takes more than just performance to compete with Ferrari and the like – you have to make your owners feel special, and that’s exactly what the new MSO Contrast Packs for the McLaren 750S aim to do. McLaren Special Operations has previously worked its magic on the 750S with a new Spectrum design available in Spectrum Blue, Spectrum Grey and Spectrum Orange. While this color-changing scheme is limited to three variants, the Contrast Pack alone offers 12 pre-configured exterior designs.

McLaren Automotive is a manufacturer of sports cars, supercars and hypercars based in Woking in the United Kingdom. The company was founded by Ron Dennis as a spin-off of the McLaren F1 team and is therefore named after Bruce McLaren. It is famous for its Formula 1-inspired development of high-performance sports cars, supercars and hypercars such as the F1 – the car manufacturer’s first official road-going project – and more recent projects such as the P1 and the McLaren Senna. McLaren was recently purchased by the Mumtalakat Holding Company, a sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In addition to the new interior and exterior packages, the cabin of all new McLaren models features a start/stop button in Papaya Orange, the same color you’ll see on McLaren’s MCL38 Formula 1 race car this weekend. The color was first introduced on the M6A Can-Am race car in 1967. Let’s take a closer look.

Unfortunately McLaren has only provided images of one specification, but all options are available, including new stealth badges where the McLaren logos are blacked out front, rear and on each hubcap. There is also the new option of body-coloured carbon fibre front fenders with visible gloss carbon fibre slats. Previously these slats were also body-coloured on both the Coupe and 750S Spider.
