While the previous versions of the franchise have already left players speechless, Flight Simulator 2024 is ready to reach even greater heights! In the last few weeks, developer Asboe has introduced some new features that will completely revolutionize the virtual flight experience.
The game will feature enhanced graphics, offering a carefully recreated Earth. Each airport in the title has been massively improved and complemented by brand new oil rigs, glider airports and lighthouses, creating an even more immersive experience.
But what really distinguishes Flight Simulator 2024 from the rest of the series is the unpredictable freedom it brings. Not only can you fly through the skies, but you can also get out of your plane and walk around to explore stunning landscapes.

This new mechanic allows players to immerse themselves in nature as they hike along beautiful mountains, explore remote areas, and experience stunning sunsets reflected in tranquil lakes.
It’s truly a level of immersion the gaming community has never experienced before. It’s only a matter of time before we see modders pushing the boundaries of the feature and completely recreating Grand Theft Auto in Flight Simulator.

The modding community has already played a major role in the Flight Simulator Success of the franchise by extending the life of the game through the addition of groundbreaking mods and add-ons. As the sequel develops, We honestly can’t wait to see what the modding community has in store for the game.
Let’s hope Microsoft and Xbox don’t make a mistake with this game and give us another disappointment.
When will Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 be released?
Although it may not receive the same level of marketing as legendary games like Gearbox or haloMicrosoft Flight Simulator has been Microsoft’s longest-running series for decades.
The series was originally aimed at a nice audience of aircraft enthusiasts, but with the last few releases it has made its breakthrough into the general public and the upcoming title will go a step further.
Flight Simulator 2024 will be released on November 19, 2024. When it releases, it will be available on Xbox Series S/X and PC, with obvious day-one availability on Game Pass.
At the time of writing, there are no official pricing for the game yet, but if we make an estimate based on the prices of the previous entry, Microsoft will likely offer us a base version for $60, with more expensive additions bringing additional content.
