Are you one of those people who doesn’t tip when you get bad service in a store?
I’ve never been so upset about not tipping a coworker, but a woman named Krystal took that route and explained why in a viral TikTok video.
It all started with a visit to the nail salon…
Krystal said, “I was just at the nail salon and for the first time ever I didn’t tip at all. If you’re a service provider, I might be wrong because aside from the service itself, your job is to create a welcoming atmosphere – maybe not welcoming. But a pleasant environment, right?”
She said the nail technician was upset when she wanted a different color for her nails.
Krystal explained: “You would have thought I was threatening this man’s firstborn child. He just said ‘ugh.'”
Krystal said the manicurist complained to her boss about the request but was rude throughout the procedure.
She said, “So no! If you’re rude to me, I won’t tip you and I won’t feel bad about it.”
