Nara Smith, Lucky Blue Kids’ names are not very Trad Wife coded

If you’ve somehow managed to avoid the latest internet obsession, let me introduce you to TikTok’s Nara Smith and her husband Lucky Blue Smith. They’re the ultimate traditional couple of the TikTok scene, making everyone wonder if we’re just lazy in our lives. But before you start Googling how to make peanut butter from scratch, let’s look at what makes this duo so inevitably fascinating.

Nara Smith’s rise on TikTok was laced with a dash of humor and a dash of “mischievous flair,” and quickly garnered her a huge following. The 22-year-old’s account exploded when she announced her third pregnancy, and people couldn’t get enough of it. The fact that her kids’ names are kind of crazy doesn’t help…

Nara and Lucky may look like the typical Instagram couple, but their story has much more to offer than just pretty pictures and dreamy aesthetics. In the September cover story of GQboth talked about their relationship, their TikTok fame, and their little family. Here are some fun facts about them that you may not have known and that keep popping into my head.

Lucky Blue and Nara Smith’s background

Lucky Blue was basically a child star in the modeling world. He was discovered at the tender age of 10, appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show by the age of 17, and had a huge following on Tumblr. His fans even called themselves “Lucky Charms” (I don’t know if I hate or love that).

Nara was born Nara Aziza Pellmann and comes from a unique cultural background: her father is German, her mother is from Lesotho in southern Africa. At just 14 years old, she was discovered as a model in Germany, which laid the foundation for her future jet-set life.

Nara Smith and Lucky Blue: From model to housewife

When they met at a fashion show in Milan in 2019, it was pretty much love at first sight. So much so that Lucky proposed to Nara shortly after their visit to LA. That’s how quickly the romance progressed.

Eventually, the couple packed up and left LA for the far reaches of Dallas, Texas. Partly to make a fresh start and partly for the great tax benefits. But compared to the fashion hubs they once called home, they find Texas a little isolated.

Despite their beginnings in the glitzy world of fashion, Nara and Lucky have developed a more family-oriented lifestyle. They are all about their three children and their laid-back lifestyle, and they have taken their social media followers along for the ride.

While Lucky occasionally addresses his faith in his content and encourages his followers to connect with God, both he and Nara are relatively private about their religious beliefs, despite backlash online. “I’m not in any way a hardcore Mormon or anything like that,” Nara shared in a GRWM video. Whatever that means.

Nara Smith Children’s Names

I’m sorry, Nara, but honestly the kids’ names are a little wild. You’d think with their whole tradwife aesthetic, we’d see little Timothys and Elizabeths running around. But no! Instead, we have Rumble Honey, Slim Easy, and Whimsy Lou. No, seriously—those are their kids’ names. So, I’m sorry, but why are tradwifes here using the most unconventional names ever? Imagine introducing yourself in kindergarten: “Hi, I’m Rumble Honey.” If the kids weren’t so filthy rich and famous, I’d feel sorry for them.

Lucky Blue Smith and Stormi Henley Child

Before you think Lucky Blue’s life has always been a picture-perfect family life, let’s rewind a bit. Back when Lucky was the It Boy of the fashion industry, he had a daughter with his ex, Stormi Henley, who is an actress and singer. Does the name sound familiar? That’s because she was most recently romantically linked to Joe Jonas. But anyway – the child’s name? Gravity. Yes, Gravity, like the force that keeps us all grounded. And although the name sounds like something you would name your new-age wellness resort, it’s now part of Lucky’s beautiful blended family.

TikTok, tradwife fantasies and the reality check

Nara’s TikTok is like the ultimate traditional wife’s dream. It’s all about domestic perfection – think vintage vibes, wholesome content, and a constant rotation of all things homemade. But if you look at Nara’s life and wonder if you need to start making butter by hand to get your life together, take a deep breath. Nara herself says she’s not trying to set any standards here or push anyone into a 1950s time warp.

Of course, that doesn’t stop the internet from analyzing every aspect of her life and wondering if she’s the face of the new wave of tradwife propaganda or just making fun of her content. But whether you’re a fan, a critic, or just someone who’s here for the memes, one thing is for sure: Nara and Lucky Blue are serving up something the internet can’t look away from.

So while we’re all trying to figure out what to do with this latest online obsession, let’s first acknowledge the absurdity of it all—because if nothing else, Nara and Lucky have given us plenty to talk about.
