How I fell in love with my field:I was drawn to primary care because it allows a provider to build a personal relationship with their patients over many visits and get to know them not only as patients but also on a personal level. This allows them to be a partner during regular health visits with a focus on preventative medicine and during acute visits when they are seriously ill. Family medicine in particular has allowed me to care for patients of all ages and even different generations within the same family and to continue to deepen these relationships. I look forward to continuing to build and grow these relationships in my practice.

- My parents originally come from Panama.
