The New Orleans Saints could be one of the NFL’s most active teams on the waiver list after the latest cuts.
These Saints have serious problems at the right tackle position, with a former first-round pick flirting with the “flop” label. Derek Carr could use some help at the skill positions, and the secondary is also full of questions.
After the final cuts on Tuesday, teams have until noon ET Wednesday to submit waiver requests. Players with at least four seasons of accumulated time go directly to free agency, while players with fewer seasons are subject to waivers — if they go unclaimed, they too go to free agency.
The current waiver order for Wednesday is determined by both the 2023 records and the order of the draft before the 2024 trades:
