Nike Air Flight 89 Low “Khaki/Phantom/Baroque Brown/Sanddrift” FZ3045-200

Stüssy has a convincing argument for being one of, if not the best most influential brand to ever collaborate with Nike. Aside from top projects like the Stüssy SB Dunk from 2005, the Southern California skate and surf brand has helped revive a handful of archived models in recent years.

The LD-1000 is Stüssy’s most recent resurrection, but in late 2023, the brand celebrated the 35th anniversary of the Air Flight 89 with three low-top colorways in a snakeskin look. While the slightly different mid-top version made a brief appearance from 2022 to early 2024, the Beaverton brand’s focus seems to have shifted entirely to the low-top for fall 2024 thanks to its now greater name recognition.

Joining the Air Flight 89 Low “Navy” and “Burgundy Crush” colorways on the season’s roster is an all-suede “Khaki” pair that stands out from sport-appropriate materials and colors. The outsole, Swoosh, lining and forefoot piping all appear in “Baroque Brown,” while a “Phantom” midsole adds a slight vintage touch. For the uninitiated, the Air Flight 89 debuted in 1989 alongside the Air Jordan 4 and is largely considered a sister model to that shoe, as it shares a similar aesthetic rooted in basketball nostalgia.

These are expected to launch during the fall 2024 shopping season for $140, though Nike has yet to provide a firm date at the time of writing. Check out official images below and keep checking our sneaker release dates page for updates.
