Not everyone liked the color commentary of Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade during the Olympic Games

Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade received widespread praise from the national media for his commentary at the recent men’s Olympic basketball games in Paris.

In fact, there are reports that Wade is a candidate for jobs at NBC or Amazon when their new NBA contracts go into effect for the 2025-2026 season.

According to an article by Richard Deitsch of The Athletic, Wade is being seriously considered for an analyst position. He wrote that Wade already has a relationship with NBC and could play alongside Noah Eagle on the No. 2 team behind Mike Tirico, who is slated to serve as the primary commentator.

“We’re going to sit down this fall and talk about talent on the pregame show, talk about talent on our live commentary positions,” NBC president Rick Cordella told Deitsch. “We’re going to need several because we have games three nights a week.”

However, not all fans were enthusiastic about Wade. Numerous basketball fans expressed their displeasure on social media.

Many fans made disparaging comments about Wade’s description of his friend and former teammate LeBron James. There were also some who questioned Wade’s use of pronouns to describe players.
