- Tuesday, August 27, 11am: The New York City Council’s Subcommittee on Landmarks, Public Sites, and Dispositions meets to consider several landmark designation requests, including the Heckscher Building, Beekman Hotel, Frederick Douglass Memorial Park, and Malcolm Shabazz Harlem Plaza. NYC affordable housing lotteries ending soon: The New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) will complete lotteries for the following subsidized buildings over the next week.
- 165 Broome Street, Manhattan, for households with incomes between $18,480 and $154,080
- Belmont Daniel LP (waiting list), Staten Island, for households with incomes between $33,087 and $192,855
- Seaview Estates (waiting list), Staten Island, for households with incomes between $34,732 and $231,120
