Obituary for Lester Albright (1964 – 2024) – Greensburg, PA

Lester Warren “Spanky” Albright, Jr., 60, of Greensburg, died Monday, August 19, 2024, at Independence Health System Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. He was born April 20, 1964, in Greensburg, the son of the late Lester Warren and Betty Louise (Musgrove) Albright. He graduated from Greater Latrobe High School in 1982 and was previously employed by Penn Dot, Greensburg. Warren was a member of the 1st Reformed United Church of Christ in Greensburg, a life member of the Hecla Sportsmen’s Club, and a member of the Kecksburg Firemen’s and Hempfield Hunt Clubs. He enjoyed collecting guns and tractor pulling, helping R&B Promotions at demolition derbies at the Westmoreland Fairgrounds, and was a huge Dale Earnhart fan. He is survived by his sister, Wendy L. Ulishney and her husband, Michael, of Unity Township, and several cousins. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the LEO M. BACHA FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2072 Route 130, Pleasant Unity, where the funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday with the Reverend David L. Greer officiating. Burial will follow in Westmoreland County Memorial Park, Hempfield Township.
