Mary (Errett) Walter of Manor passed away peacefully on Friday, August 23, 2024. She was born May 21, 1932 in Greensburg to the late George and Mary Errett. She attended Irwin High School and worked at Model Laundry and the Westinghouse Mica Plant in Irwin. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ, Manor, a past member of the Manor Women’s Lions Club and the Irwin Art League. She was a loving, supportive wife, mother and grandmother. She took great joy in raising a family and sharing her talent with them in many crafts. Her family is eternally grateful to her. Mary was blessed with a loving family and many dear friends over the years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Jane. She leaves behind her husband of 72 years, Harry, four children, one grandchild and great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the WILLIAM SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 521 Main St., Irwin, 724-863-1200. Funeral services will be held Monday at 3 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Diane Wiley officiating. Interment will be private.
