Ocean Bank provides .5 million to refinance Aloft Hotel in Miami

Ocean Bank recently announced that it has loaned Mary Brickell Village Hotel LLC $17.5 million to refinance the Aloft Hotel in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood.

Aloft by Marriott is located at 1001 SW Second Ave. Built in 2013 and renovated in 2021, the hotel offers 160 guest rooms and suites, a restaurant, bar/lounge, fitness center, meeting rooms, and an outdoor pool and enclosed terrace.

“Pedro F. Villar, General Manager of Mary Brickell Village Hotel LLC, has been a client of Ocean Bank for nearly 30 years and it was a pleasure to work with Mr. Villar and his team in refinancing this amazing asset,” said Eddie Diaz, Executive Vice President and Head of Corporate Lending.

Senior Vice President Jorge Hernandez arranged the loan for Ocean Bank.
