Online dashboard for behavioral health data released

JACKSON, Wyoming – The Teton Behavioral Health Alliance (TBHA), an initiative of the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole, is proud to announce the launch of the Behavioral Health Dashboard, a key component of the Teton Community Wellbeing Dashboard. Developed in collaboration with over 70 local organizations and supported by LegacyWorks Group, this innovative data tool is designed to improve the future of behavioral health support in Teton County.

Funded by the Community Foundation, the Behavioral Health Dashboard is a website and online tool that allows users to explore interconnected behavioral health data metrics. “We believe that access to behavioral health data will help community members, mental health professionals, organizational leaders, and private and public funders make informed decisions about how to create positive change,” said Kate Schelbe, Backbone Leader of the Teton Behavioral Health Alliance.

Much of the data comes from the Behavioral Health Alliance’s community needs assessments. Community partners also provided additional data sources and insights to make the dashboard possible. Lindsay Long, Clinical Operation Manager of Behavioral Health at St John’s Health, said: “The data brings us one step closer to understanding the behavioral health needs of our community so we can respond promptly and effectively.”

The LegacyWorks Group created the dashboard and will manage the data. The group will continue to collect feedback and engage in cycles of continuous improvement so that it remains a relevant tool for tracking and delivering solutions. Community participation is encouraged and feedback on the user experience can be provided via this feedback form.

The Behavioral Health Dashboard will be presented at the TBHA Town Hall meeting. Wednesday, September 18, 2024, 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. in the Teton County Library’s Ordway Auditorium. The meeting is open to the public and can be attended in person or via Zoom.

About the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole

The Community Foundation of Jackson Hole is committed to improving lives through philanthropic leadership. This includes serving as a leader, catalyst and resource for our community. We award grants, provide excellent donor services and ensure the sustainability of our philanthropic community. We do this well because we listen to our community. We are committed to opening our minds to possibilities. This has led us to launch three community-wide initiatives that focus on the root causes of community issues, including behavioral health, housing solutions, and education and families. Our team is smart and flexible, but that is not as important to us as our desire to create a supportive environment where we can create meaningful change with our nonprofit partners and, in turn, the community as a whole. We talk things through, and then we innovate and implement them. We believe in connection, collaboration, compassion and curiosity. Learn more www.cfjacksonhole.org
