OSS receives order for robust enterprise-class servers for

ESCONDIDO, Calif., Aug. 22, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — One Stop Systems, Inc. (“OSS” or the “Company”) (Nasdaq: OSS), a leading provider of rugged enterprise-class computers for artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and sensor processing at the edge, today announced an initial order valued at over $500,000 from the U.S. Army, expected to begin fulfilling in 2024. The order represents a new customer and platform win for OSS that the Company believes presents a multi-year opportunity based on current program requirements.

The first contract will leverage the company’s integrated hardware and storage software capabilities to support the U.S. Army’s efforts to test threat detection systems, countermeasures, and other survivability systems for the U.S. Army’s rotary wing aircraft. Under the program, OSS will deliver rugged 3U Short Depth Servers (SDS) for high-speed airborne data recording. The SDS was selected by the U.S. Army based on its proven performance in rugged land, sea, and air operations, including previously announced program wins in trucks, mobile command centers, underwater vehicles, and air platforms.

“Our long-standing success on Department of Defense ground, ship and air platforms such as the U.S. Navy’s P-8 maritime patrol and reconnaissance aircraft provides us with proven opportunities to extend our SDS products to support the U.S. Army’s rotary-wing platforms. Today’s announcement reflects our success in building sustainable capabilities on a new platform with multi-year funding. It also exemplifies OSS’s strategy to meet the most stringent military and aerospace industry requirements with standards-based, enterprise-class platforms for multiple applications and aircraft,” commented Robert Kalebaugh, VP of Sales at OSS.
