Pegasus Airlines starts flights from Istanbul to Tuzla

Pegasus Airlines has officially opened its new flight route between Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport and Tuzla International Airport.

The first flight was celebrated with a ceremony in the presence of Turkish and Bosnian officials and marked a significant expansion of the Pegasus network.

This new route strengthens relations between Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina and promotes tourist, social and commercial exchanges.

Director of Sales and Network Planning at Pegasus, Emre Pekesenemphasized the potential of this new route and pointed out that the first flight is already fully booked. Pegasus plans to increase flight frequencies soon.

This new flight route between Istanbul and Tuzla is an expression of the growing friendship between Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Busan is greening and growing

Enver IskurtDeputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Turkey, stressed that the Tuzla Canton Government requested this connection and the Turkish government responded positively. The air route is expected to promote deeper social, economic and tourism ties between the two countries and further developments are expected to follow in the near future.

Expansion of Pegasus Airlines network

With this new route, Pegasus Airlines further expands its international presence, increasing the total number of its destinations to 107.

Due to the strong demand already demonstrated by the first flight, the airline plans to further expand its offering by increasing flight frequencies.

Pegasus operates this route every Saturday departing from Istanbul at 06:50 and returning from Tuzla at 08:50 on the same day.

The successful launch of the Istanbul-Tuzla route indicates great potential for future growth in this region. Pegasus Airlines is optimistic about expanding its service frequency and offering more options to travelers between these two cities.

The new route is expected to promote not only tourism but also business travel and cultural exchanges, thus strengthening relations between Turkey and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
