Penske Used Trucks launches online auction platform

READ, PA — Penske Used Trucks has unveiled its new online auction platform that is revolutionizing the way buyers purchase used commercial vehicles. This digital marketplace is designed to simplify the buying process with a seamless and intuitive interface, allowing for easy browsing and bidding on a diverse range of quality equipment.

The platform offers several notable features. Access is restricted to registered users only, ensuring a focused and secure bidding environment. Buyers benefit from transparent pricing, meaning there are no hidden fees, so they know exactly what they will pay. Each vehicle comes with a free third-party condition report that independently informs buyers of the truck’s condition.

The platform is designed with ease of use in mind and supports a straightforward bidding process. It includes flexible tools such as automated bidding, instant bidding, and advanced bidding, increasing convenience for participants. Auctions are held weekly, starting every Tuesday at 8:00 a.m. EST and ending on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. EST. Vehicles of all types are offered, from light and medium-duty trucks to heavy-duty tractors and semi-trailers.

“We are committed to continually improving the buying experience for our customers,” said Jack Mitchell, senior vice president of vehicle remarketing at Penske Used Trucks. “The new auction site provides an efficient, transparent and user-friendly way to purchase quality used trucks.”

This innovative platform promises to meet the needs of buyers looking for reliable used commercial vehicles in a digital world.
