As the 32 NFL teams work to trim their rosters to 53 players before Tuesday’s 4 p.m. EST deadline, competition for young talent on the waiver list is heating up.
Depending on what happens with experienced players like James Bradberry and Parris Campbell, the Philadelphia Eagles could look to sign talent at positions of need, such as safety, receiver and reserve offensive line.
After final roster cuts are made, teams have until noon EST Wednesday to file waivers. Players with at least four seasons of accumulated eligibility become unrestricted free agents, while players with fewer than four seasons of eligibility are subject to waivers; if unclaimed, those players can sign with any team they want.
The current waiver order for Wednesday is determined by both the 2023 records and the 2024 draft order before trades. Here’s who the Eagles will be competing with should a coveted prospect buy their way out:
