As we approach the last days of summer, there’s still time to travel. And while you do, would you believe that Massachusetts has the “Best Waterfront Hotel in the U.S.” The selection for this particular award was made by the readers of USA Today. It’s almost like a People’s Choice Award of sorts. A panel of experts chose a group of nominees from which to vote, but after that, readers made the selection. So, where is this Massachusetts waterfront hotel that’s so great, it’s the best in the country?
Considering that the hotel has to be right on the water, you might think that it would probably be in the eastern part of the state, especially since Cape Cod is such an attractive destination. And indeed, the best waterfront hotel in the United States is located in a town on Cape Cod. That town is also in the hotel’s name. The Chatham Bars Inn is the “best waterfront hotel” in the country.
