Who will win the Premier League title?

The title race will once again be between Arsenal and Manchester City. That’s obvious, but it feels like Arsenal could finally overtake City and win it all this season. Two of the three writers predict Liverpool will finish third and could stay there, but there are clearly two top teams in the Premier League.

Who qualifies for the Champions League?

The top four will be a tight battle as Man United and Tottenham are improving their squads, while Liverpool’s side has remained very similar but the departure of Jurgen Klopp and the arrival of Arne Slot represents a big change. Teams like Aston Villa and Newcastle will also be in the mix and two of our three writers have predicted Newcastle to finish in the top four as they believe Eddie Howe’s side will make a big comeback after last season’s injuries.

Who will have a bad season?

We all expect Chelsea to struggle and finish well outside the top four as new players and a new manager (Enzo Maresca) have once again arrived at Stamford Bridge and everything is a bit of a mess. We think Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth will fade and it will be exciting to keep an eye on Brighton, Crystal Palace and Fulham as they have all lost key players this summer and Wolves’ small squad is already plagued by injuries.

Who will be relegated from the Premier League this season?

As for the relegation battle, it will be extremely tough for the three newcomers. Leicester City have a new manager in Steve Cooper and the Foxes are facing financial problems. Ipswich Town will play solidly but may not have enough quality to stay in the league, just like Luton did last season. Southampton have made some interesting signings and look to have the best chance of giving themselves a chance at avoiding relegation. Two of our writers believe Nottingham Forest will be relegated, while Brentford are a team to keep an eye on as they continue to figure out what to do with the Ivan Toney situation.
