Proenza Schouler is reportedly launching menswear
Citing a well-placed source, Puck’s Lauren Sherman reported that Proenza Schouler’s Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are launching a men’s collection for spring 2025. The collection is expected to debut at the brand’s runway show in February. The two designers have also reportedly recruited menswear designer Patrik Ervell to work on the collection. {Puck/Paywall}

CFDA and Fashion Partner of the Fashion For Our Future March
The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and Fashion have announced Fashion For Our Future, a nonpartisan march in Midtown Manhattan scheduled for September 6. This event will bring together more than 1,000 participants from across the fashion industry to encourage voter registration and voting this election year. “This is an extraordinary election with incredible consequences for our future and nothing could be more important than participating in it by voting,” Anna Wintour said in a statement. Marchers will wear exclusive Fashion For Our Future t-shirts and dresses designed by Old Navy, and a limited number of these designs will be available after the march on oldnavy.com and at its three flagship stores in New York City. {Fashionista Inbox}

WGSN launches fashion buying platform
On Thursday, trend forecaster WGSN launched WGSN Fashion Buying, a platform that helps shoppers understand product direction, key trends and how much to invest in specific styles. Using WGSN’s trend decision intelligence, purchase-specific forecasts and its predictive AI analytics TrendCurve, the platform aims to help shoppers make seasonal buying decisions through accuracy. “WGSN has used big data to rewrite the rules for forecasting trends,” Francesca Muston, WGSN’s vice president of fashion, said in a statement. “The Fashion Buying innovation will supercharge the platform with a data-driven solution with unprecedented efficiency that impacts retailers’ bottom lines.” {Fashionista Inbox}

Urban Outfitters brings live tour with Quavo and Towa Bird to the university campus
Urban Outfitters is hosting a live concert tour featuring Quavo, Towa Bird and others for Gen Z audiences on five college campuses. The first concert will take place on August 13th and the tour will make stops in Athens, Georgia, Georgetown, DC and Tucson, Arizona, among others.
