Phew! I didn’t solve today’s Quordle until the last guess after nearly being tripped up by TRITE. That word took me two tries and I had to solve FUNKY on the last guess, although luckily that was the only word left open to me. It was another reminder, if I needed one, that it’s a better strategy to play a narrowing down when there’s a word with multiple options in the later stages. Instead of guessing TRIBE and then TRIKE before finally settling on TRITE, I should have recognized the options earlier and chosen BROTH or something else that would have ruled out two answers and left me with only one to play. Still, I came away with my relatively newly formed streak still intact.
