Rattlers finish second in SWAC’s predicted order of finish

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. –– The Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC) announced its projected seeding order and the Rattlers were selected to finish second.

The Rattlers received 214 points, five points less than Jackson State. They also received four first-place votes. The Rattlers were one of two teams to score over 200 points in voting.

3. State of Alabama – 190 (3)
4. Prairie View A&M-183 (2)
5. Alabama – 146 (1)
6. Bethune-Cookman- 126
7. Grambling State – 120
8. Texas Southern – 119
9. Southern – 89
10. Arkansas-Pine Bluff- 71
11. Alcorn State – 53
12. Mississippi Valley State – 30
