(VINnews) — The lack of any mention of Israeli victims of terrorism in the exhibition marking the International Day of Remembrance and Honoring the Victims of Terrorism in the Visitors Hall of the UN Headquarters is simply despicable.

The UN informs us that “terrorist attacks propagating a wide range of hateful ideologies continue to injure, harm and kill thousands of innocent people each year” and that the international body “plays an important role in assisting Member States in implementing the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy by showing solidarity and providing assistance to victims of terrorism.”
Indeed, the display of large photographs of such victims in the visitor reception area also includes tributes to the victims of September 11 and the terrorist attacks in Boston, Indonesia and Kenya, to name a few.
What is striking, however, is that there is no mention of the countless Jewish victims of Islamist terror over the years – and this less than a year after the Hamas attack on Israelis on October 7, the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust.
Many have long considered the UN to be a hypocritical, corrupt and useless institution. There is ample evidence to support this claim within the UN today.
