REET Level 1 Exam Pattern
For primary school teachers (grades 1 to 5) Level 1
- Candidates must complete the senior secondary level with 50% marks from a recognized examination board. Candidates must pass a 2-year diploma in primary education. OR
- Candidates have completed secondary education with at least 45% marks and have obtained or are aspiring to obtain a diploma in the final year of the two-year Diploma in Primary Education as per the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2002. OR
- Upper secondary school with 50% of the points and four-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) passed or pursued in the last years. OR
- Upper secondary school with 50% of the points and passed or in the last year of the two-year diploma in education (special education). OR
- University degree and completed or in the final year of a two-year diploma course in primary school education.
