Reneé Rapp posted a vulgar post on Instagram after her performance at the Reading Festival was canceled on Sunday because she was soaked by “a lot of rain.”
The 24-year-old American singer was furious when water that had accumulated on the stage during Storm Lilian came crashing down like a waterfall, soaking both her band and her equipment.
She shared a snap of herself after retreating to her dressing room showing both middle fingers and wrote: “Girl what the hell was that?”
Reneé, who was already forced to cancel Leeds Festival due to safety concerns over the bad weather, shouted on stage: “We’re soaked. Some of our equipment is broken, so thank you very much, that’s been really bloody helpful. But we really want to give you a good show.”
“I need to take someone aside for a minute. I need to talk about this. It’s fucking ridiculous.”

After attempting to continue the show, Reneé had no choice but to leave the stage before a sign appeared on the screens reading: “We have to pause the show for a few minutes and hope to resume soon. Thank you for your patience.”
Angry fans rushed to X to share footage of the downpour and called on the singer to sue the festival organisers.

“This was an absolute disgrace for Renee Rapp. People, myself included, have travelled from so far to see this woman perform. How dare you mistreat the customers who paid £300 to be here at her show. We demand a refund and an explanation.”: “ANOTHER WATERFALL, THIS POOR GIRL??? JUSTICE FOR RENEE.”

Previously, the festival organizers had apologized to Lana Del Rey’s fans on Instagram for canceling her headline performance on Saturday night.
A statement from the festival said the 39-year-old American singer’s performance was shortened by five minutes “due to a production error.”
It said: “Reading. Due to an error by the production team in Reading, we inadvertently cut Lana Del Rey’s incredible performance short by 5 minutes. We unreservedly apologise to Lana and her fans.”
She shared a snap of herself after retreating to her dressing room showing both middle fingers and wrote: “Girl what the hell was that?”
She also shared a cheeky snap and assured fans that she “still loves British girls”
It comes after Reneé, who was already forced to leave Leeds Festival for safety reasons due to the bad weather, exclaimed on stage: “We’re soaked. Some of our equipment is ruined.”

However, her set did not go smoothly as she also had to deal with sound problems during her performance at the festival, which led to some fans leaving the festival after just four songs.
The Summertime Sadness singer, who arrived on stage 15 minutes late, also received complaints about her “depressing” setlist.
She opened her slot with Norman F****** Rockwell before moving on to Arcadia, Without You and West Coast.
However, Lana encountered technical problems when she was drowned out by techno music coming from another stage.
The crowd could be heard chanting “Turn it up, turn it up!” as they tried to hear the musician’s “quiet” vocals.
A source told MailOnline: “She looked amazing and the set had a castle theme, but unfortunately it was so quiet we could barely hear anything and the bass from the other stage drowned her out.”

“At one point she asked, ‘Can you hear me over all this techno?'” The crowd chanted “Turn it up,” and many left after four songs.
“She would lie down on stage for one or two songs and no one could see her and most of her songs were depressing and didn’t fit the festival atmosphere.”
“The audience were really excited to see her and waited over an hour for her to perform, but she should have sung something happier as unfortunately the audience was not in the mood.”
