SJP Collection is closing
Sarah Jessica Parker’s SJP Collection shoe line will close this fall. The New York flagship store is scheduled to close on August 25. Parker launched the brand in 2014 with George Malkemus, leveraging her character’s ability to introduce Carrie Bradshaw, Manolo Blahnik, Jimmy Choo and other designer shoe brands to a wide audience. Parker was known for wearing SJP designs in the “Sex and the City” spinoff “And Just Like That.” {Shoe News}

Victoria Beckham documentary series coming to Netflix
Netflix has announced an upcoming docuseries that will follow Victoria Beckham’s “reinvention as creative director of her own brand” and offer exclusive access to Victoria, her fashion and beauty business and her never-before-seen archives. Title and launch date are yet to be announced. {X}

Ukrainian Fashion Week takes place for the first time since the Russian invasion
Ukrainian Fashion Week will return to Kyiv from September 1 to 4. This season will be the first since February 2022. “We want to show that the Ukrainian fashion industry is incredibly strong,” said Lisa Ushcheka, head of international communications at Ukrainian Fashion Week. Elle‘s Véronique Hyland. “We want to show the world that we are resilient, that we are united, that we are creative, and that is something the world cannot lose.” While the upcoming fashion shows will not be streamed live, Uschecka assured the audience that they will be broadcast on Ukrainian Fashion Week’s social media. {Elle}

Troye Sivan is the star of the Gap campaign “Get Loose”
In the Gap Fall 2024 campaign, Troye Sivan and dance troupe CDK Company wear the brand’s relaxed denim collection. To celebrate 55 years of Gap’s denim heritage, the campaign video includes a choreographed dance by Sergio Reis to “Funny Thing” by Thundercat. “Being part of the Gap campaign and wearing their denim feels perfect,” Sivan said in the press release. “Dancing has become an integral part of my life and gives me confidence and a sense of timeless cool.
