Simone Holtznagel checks into a ,200-a-night “postpartum hotel” with her daughter Gia as she resurfaces after splitting from Jono Castano

Simone Holtznagel has announced that she and her four-month-old baby Gia will stay in a “postpartum hotel” to “relax and recharge their batteries.”

The 31-year-old model has returned to Instagram for the first time since her surprise split from Jono Castano, just weeks after the birth of their first baby together.

The celebrity posted two videos on Wednesday of herself snuggling up to her bundle of joy and saying they would be spending “a few days” at the $2,200-a-night hotel in Double Bay.

“We are packing because we are staying in Borne. Are you excited? Are you excited, little one?” she said, cooing to her sweet baby.

“So we will stay a few days in the new maternity hotel at the InterContinental in Double Bay.

“We’re going because Gia is now four months old, and after being a wonderful baby and sleeping through the night since she was ten weeks old, we’re going through the four-month sleep regression.”

Simone went on to say that she would speak to “lactation consultants” during her stay at the postpartum hotel so that she could get Gia to drink from a bottle.

“We’re going to try to finally teach you the bottle because she just flat out refuses,” she said, spoiling her child.

“I’ve booked some massages and some time to relax and unwind. A little time for you to focus on yourself and you’ll learn to sleep through the night again.”

Previously, a close friend had revealed on Friday that the end of the relationship between Simone and Jono had been foreseeable for some time.

A source told the Daily Telegraph that several friends and family members had warned Simone that her modeling lifestyle was incompatible with Jono’s career as a fitness influencer.

The first sign of trouble came when Jono, 33, posted pictures of himself on a luxury vacation in Thailand without Simone and their baby, just days after Gia’s birth on March 31.

Although many of Jono’s followers raved about the snaps, Simone neither liked nor commented on them.

Meanwhile, another follower asked pointedly: “Don’t you have a newborn? Where is your girlfriend?”

Earlier this month, Jono officially confirmed the shocking news that he and Simone were going their separate ways, just weeks after welcoming their first child together.

The fitness fanatic explained that he and Simone decided to go their separate ways nine weeks ago, around the end of May.

Jono told Daily Mail Australia exclusively about the split: “We just decided it was best for her to spend time with her family in Wollongong.”

“Who knows what the future holds. Our idea is to simply be the best parents for Gia right now.”

The former lovebirds no longer live together; Simone is moving to Wollongong with Gia, while Jono stays in Sydney to run his gym chain Acero Gym.
