After a brief preview last week, Lucasfilm and Disney have now revealed the next live-action film. star Wars TV series, Skeleton Crewand his motley crew of adventurous children.
Set in the New Republic era – around the same time as the events of The Mandaloriangiven the return of Nikto space pirate Vane (Marti Matulis) from season three – the series follows a group of young friends who find themselves on adventures across the galaxy after finding a mysterious ship on their home planet. Along with the equally mysterious force-sensitive Jod Na Nawood (Jude Law) and a rusty old droid SM-33 (Nick Frost) on board this ship, Onyx Ashthe children must desperately try to find a way to return home safely.
Featuring Ravi Cabot-Conyers as Wim, Kyriana Kratter as KB, Robert Timothy Smith as young Ortolan Neel and Ryan Kiera Armstrong as Fern. Star Wars: Skeleton Crew will stream on Disney+ starting December 3. Stay tuned to io9 for more news from D23!
