Slight chance of rain tonight, generally quiet – ABC 6 News

Across the Weather First area, there is a slight chance of rain tonight through tomorrow morning. Along with this chance of rain, cloud cover will increase significantly by Monday morning.

A low pressure system currently over western South Dakota will move quickly past us tonight and Monday morning. Clouds are already increasing in western and central Minnesota/Iowa due to this approaching low.

Although clouds will increase and skies will be mostly cloudy tonight and tomorrow morning, rain chances remain fairly low. The best chance for precipitation remains well south of the Iowa-Minnesota border, so most of the Weather First area will likely remain dry tonight and Monday.

From Monday morning, the cloud cover in our area will increase from north to south. The clearing skies will cause temperatures to warm up during the day and maximum temperatures will rise to 21 to 25 degrees Celsius.

Monday evening will see clear skies, making it another calm night to open the windows, with lows of between 10 and 12 degrees Celsius.
