SmallHD Ultra 7 – now available in special colors

SmallHD has just announced that their flagship monitor, the Ultra 7, is now available in ten different custom colors for the buttons, joystick, and bumper. You also get a color-matched antenna band for the Ultra 7 Bolt 6 RX/TX models, so let’s take a closer look!

Following the Ultra 5, which was launched in September 2022, SmallHD introduced the Ultra 7 in January 2024. The Ultra 7 is a high-end monitor featuring a 1920 x 1200 touchscreen display with a maximum brightness of 2,300 nits, four customizable control buttons, two 6G SDI in/out and two HDMI in/out, and a locking 5-pin USB port for camera control of various ARRI, RED and Sony VENICE cameras. The Ultra 7 is IP54 certified and designed for the most demanding shooting conditions with integrated bumpers around the monitor.

During NAB 2024, we stopped by the SmallHD booth to talk to Matt Eidenbock about the Ultra 7 Bolt 6 versions of the wireless video transmitter and receiver. SmallHD also introduced several different special colors for the Ultra 7, which are now available.
