Star of “Organized Crime” confirms new SVU crossover

The star of “Law & Order: Organized Crime”, Chris Meloni, has made his fans curious with a new crossover.

After leaving “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” (SVU) after 12 seasons, Meloni reprised his role as Elliot Stabler for the spin-off series “Organized Crime.”

It was recently announced that the spin-off will no longer air on NBC but will stream on Peacock. This news could mean some changes for the next season of the series, including some swear words.

On the Today show, Meloni raised the possibility that Stabler would swear in season five. “Maybe, probably,” he suggested.

While Meloni initially thought about who Stabler would insult, she then teased another crossover with Captain Olivia Benson from “Law & Order: SVU.”

“Maybe his brother Randall or, I don’t know if Benson – it would be nice if Benson and Stabler would try it,” he added.

Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Stabler were last seen together in the third season finale of Organized Crime. Since then, Benson has not made a personal appearance in season four, but her voice could be heard in the voicemails she left for Stabler.

However, Meloni shared that he is writing the second episode of the fifth season and confirmed that the character Hargitay will make an appearance.

“Oh, the girlfriend is coming,” he said firmly.

While the fourth season of Organized Crime focuses heavily on Stabler’s family life, the actor confirmed that this will also be the case in the upcoming season.

“The family is involved,” he said. “I always push for more of that. I like that dynamic and I think the audience does too.”

Law & Order: SVU Broadcast on Thursdays on NBC in the USA. The show will be broadcast on Heavenly Witness in the UK, selected episodes available on NOW.
