Sunshine and warmer temperatures return today – Chris

Happy Sunday morning! The sun returns FULLY today, as do the warmer temperatures. Expect a lot more blue skies to finish off the weekend, while highs climb back into the low 27s. Thankfully, it won’t be too muggy. The mostly dry and warm weather pattern continues for most of the day ahead. Expect a carbon copy of Sunday on Monday, with more sun and highs in the low 27s.

Tuesday will start dry and warm again with highs around 27 degrees. On Tuesday, watch closely for what happens overnight. There could be a storm complex developing somewhere in the upper Midwest. Depending on how that develops, parts of Minnesota could see strong storms overnight. The details are still unclear, but the Minnesota Weather Service is working to clarify those details.

The next rains could arrive with scattered showers right as the Minnesota State Fair begins. Even then, Thursday and Friday should see more dry hours than wet, with highs around 80 degrees. That said, you know we couldn’t do without them. 90 degrees and high humidity could arrive on the first full weekend of the Great Minnesota Get (Sweat) Together!

Enjoy the day and take care of yourself!
